Students of KCIPS participated in various events of Inter Khalsa organised by Khalsa Girls Sr Sec School Amritsar on 24 Jan 2019 and bring laurels to the school by showing their excellence in various co – curricular activities.

Lohri Celebration

The function of Lohri was celebrated with a lot of fanfare. The students were totally absorbed in the festive spirit of Lohri. The students rocked the stage with the folk dances. The function concluded with the speech delivered by Vice Principal Mrs Rupinder Mahal. The children had a gala time as they danced around the holy bonfire and prayed for their prosperity

Seminar on Energy Conservation by The Amritsar Smart City Project Team

Khalsa College International Public School Ranjit Avenue hosted a seminar conducted by “The Amritsar Smart City project team” on the Theme of Energy conservation & usage optimisation .There were presentations by the team members on various aspects of theme followed by question & answer sessions.

Mr G S Sethi delivered the presidential address and the Vice Principal Mrs. Rupinder Mahal gave a vote of thanks. The session concluded with the singing of the national anthem. Science Facts Quiz 12 December 2018

KCIPS conducted a Quiz on 12 Dec 2018 to make students aware of the general facts related to Science. Students of VIII std. participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. Medals were distributed by Vice Principal Mrs Rupinder Mahal to the Winner Team.

Junior IT Quiz November 2018

Junior IT Quiz Competition was organised in the school premises by NIIT on 29 November 2018. Students of Classes I to III participated in the event. Google Team with participants Navdeep Kaur, Rubaina Sharma and Prabhnoor Singh won the competition. Principal S Gurjit Singh Sethi congratulated the students and distributed certificates among them.

On the 550th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji, a great procession

On the 550th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji, a great procession was organised by Khalsa College Charitable Society Amritsar on Thursday i.e. 22 November 2018 a day ahead of gurupurab celebrations to mark the Birth Anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji. Khalsa College International Public School, C Block, Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar was the part of this great procession. Principal Mr. Gurjit Singh Sethi flagged off the procession. The procession was started with the band team of Khalsa College International Public School. Other students of school gave their performance with laziums, dumbles, and tipri playing. Students and Teachers enjoyed community food at Golden Temple premises.

Students secured 2nd position State Level Science Project Competition held at Sant Longowal Institute Of Engineering and Technology, Sangrur

KCIPS feels immense pleasure to announce that our students secured 2nd position on 16 Nov. among 100 prestigious schools of Punjab in State Level Science Project Competition held at Sant Longowal Institute Of Engineering and Technology, Sangrur, Punjab.Students represented a Working Model of “Remote Controlled Floor Cleaning Do” which is based on Cleanliness Drive. Dr.Rajesh Grover (Director, Pushpa Gujral science City, Kapurthala) presided over the event as the honourable Chief Guest. Principal S Gurjit Singh Sethi congratulated students, teachers and parents on their success.

Vice Principal Mrs Rupinder Mahal conducted a workshop on “Career Guidance” in the school premises on 16 November. New trends in the process  of Teaching – Learning were discussed in detail. Teachers were  encouraged to understand varying needs of children , their potential , capabilities and help them in selecting appropriate subjects and courses for better career opportunities.
