Matrabhasha Diwas was celebrated on 21 Feb 2019 in the school premises to promote the use of mother tongue. It was observed to highlight the linguistic diversity of our country. Various activities were organised like Elocution, Singing, Essay Writing Competitions, Music and dramatic performances that were performed by students with great zeal and enthusiasm. Vice Principal Mrs Rupinder Mahal appreciated the efforts of students and inspired them to considerate highly their mother language as a revered means of communication
Ardaas Diwas (07 Feb 2019)
The Ardaas Diwas was organised at KCIPS with religious fervour to seek the blessings of Almighty for the Board Exams and Final Exams of Students for the session 2018-19. The Kirtan was performed following the recitation of “Sukhmani Sahib ji” by the students and staff who assembled in the school premises. Vice Principal Mrs Rupinder Mahal addressed the students and motivated them to be persistent in their hard work to achieve the higher goals in boards as well as in their future prospects.
Smile Foundation for helping underprivileged children (24 Jan 2019)
KCIPS hosted an activity on 24 Jan 2019 organised by representatives of Smile Foundation for helping underprivileged children. Students were addressed by them in the Morning Assembly. Movie “I am Kalaam” was shown to students of Classes 3rd to XII. Interactive Session was held after the show where students participated in the Quiz and other related activities. Vice Principal Mrs Rupinder Mahal appreciated the team of Smile Foundation for their selfless efforts towards the betterment of society. Principal S Gurjit Singh Sethi encouraged the students to come forward for the help of poor children.
Lohri Celebration
The function of Lohri was celebrated with a lot of fanfare. The students were totally absorbed in the festive spirit of Lohri. The students rocked the stage with the folk dances. The function concluded with the speech delivered by Vice Principal Mrs Rupinder Mahal. The children had a gala time as they danced around the holy bonfire and prayed for their prosperity
Seminar on Energy Conservation by The Amritsar Smart City Project Team
Khalsa College International Public School Ranjit Avenue hosted a seminar conducted by “The Amritsar Smart City project team” on the Theme of Energy conservation & usage optimisation .There were presentations by the team members on various aspects of theme followed by question & answer sessions.
Mr G S Sethi delivered the presidential address and the Vice Principal Mrs. Rupinder Mahal gave a vote of thanks. The session concluded with the singing of the national anthem. On the 550th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji, a great procession
On the 550th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji, a great procession was organised by Khalsa College Charitable Society Amritsar on Thursday i.e. 22 November 2018 a day ahead of gurupurab celebrations to mark the Birth Anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji. Khalsa College International Public School, C Block, Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar was the part of this great procession. Principal Mr. Gurjit Singh Sethi flagged off the procession. The procession was started with the band team of Khalsa College International Public School. Other students of school gave their performance with laziums, dumbles, and tipri playing. Students and Teachers enjoyed community food at Golden Temple premises.

Vice Principal Mrs Rupinder Mahal conducted a workshop on “Career Guidance” in the school premises on 16 November. New trends in the process of Teaching – Learning were discussed in detail. Teachers were encouraged to understand varying needs of children , their potential , capabilities and help them in selecting appropriate subjects and courses for better career opportunities.
