3 Workshop On Traffic Safety

To make students aware of the various traffic rules, a workshop was conducted on the theme “ safe drive, save life” at the school campus of Khalsa College International Public School, Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar for the students of 10,+1 and +2 on April 17, 2019 . Personnel from Amritsar Traffic Police were invited. S. Dilbag Singh ADCP Traffic and S. Paramjeet Singh Inspector Traffic Police have given valuable information and the students were briefed about various traffic rules that should be followed in order to maintain safety on roads. They were encouraged to follow the rules because even the small mistakes made on the road may lead to fatal accidents. The students were told how they can follow the rules while driving. Common mistakes made by people were also discussed among students.
They understood the consequences of over speeding, signal jumping, carelessness, not wearing seat belt or helmet, use of mobile phone and many other unlawful practices on the road.
It was an initiative made by Traffic Police, Amritsar to spread awareness regarding traffic rules and road safety among our students and instill a feeling ofresponsibility as a good citizen.

 

Principal S. Gurjit Singh Sethi appreciated the efforts of the Traffic Police and their valuable guidance to the students. He also encouraged the students on how they would help in future to ensure road safety for all.

550 years of Celebrations of Guru Nanak Dev Ji

ਜਗਤ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦੇ 550 ਸਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਗੁਰੂ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਵੱਖ ਵੱਖ ਥਾਂਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੁੰਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਪੁੱਜੀ। ਇਸ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦਾ ਬੜੇ ਅਦਬ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਐਵੇਨਿਊ ਸਥਿਤ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ । ਸਰਦਾਰ ਰਾਜਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਹਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਛੀਨਾ, ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਕੱਥੂਨੰਗਲ ਤੇ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਚੈਰੀਟੇਬਲ ਸੋਸਾਈਟੀ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ, ਸ ਗੁਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੇਠੀ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਇੰਟਰਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਪਬਲਿਕ ਸਕੂਲ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਟਾਫ, ਸਰਦਾਰਨੀ ਸੁਰਿੰਦਰ ਪਾਲ ਕੌਰ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਆਫ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਟਾਫ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਆਫ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਟਾਫ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।

Baisakhi Celebration 2019

Students of KCIPS celebrated “The Harvest Festival” Baisakhi on Friday 12 April 2019. 
The day started by seeking the blessings of Almighty through School Shabad.The significance of Baisakhi was highlighted through a beautiful speech. Students presented mesmerizing Punjabi folk dance performances and a mellifluous group dance. A play on the significance of Baisakhi was the highlight of the celebration. The entire school campus was immersed in the spirit of festivity as the little ones came dressed in ethnic attire representing the Punjabi culture. 
Then the Baisakhi Mela was inaugurated by worthy Vice Principal Mrs. Rupinder Mahal. The staff and students enjoyed stalls and games to make the day more gala and memorable. 
Speaking on the occasion Principal S Gurjit Singh Sethi congratulated and appreciated all the students giving such scintillating and vivacious performances

Annual Function 2019 Last Session

KCIPS celebrated it’s Annual Function on Saturday 23 March 2019. Mrs. Tejinder Kaur Ji Chhina presided over the function along with other dignitary members of Khalsa College Charitable Society and Principals of sister institutes.
The talented students presented mesmerizing cultural events such as dances, plays etc. S Gurjit Singh Sethi, the Principal read the annual report of the school making the audience aware of the school’s achievements in academics and co-curricular arenas. 
Prizes were given away to the toppers and other students who had brought laurels to the school in various competitions and contests. 
School Magazine “Petals” was released followed by “Inauguration of newly created Sports Complex”.

Matribhasha Diwas Celebration 21 Feb 2019

Matrabhasha Diwas was celebrated on 21 Feb 2019 in the school premises to promote the use of mother tongue. It was observed to highlight the linguistic diversity of our country. Various activities were organised like Elocution, Singing, Essay Writing Competitions, Music and dramatic performances that were performed by students with great zeal and enthusiasm.  Vice Principal Mrs Rupinder Mahal appreciated the efforts of students and inspired them to considerate highly their mother language as a revered means of communication

Ardaas Diwas (07 Feb 2019)

The Ardaas Diwas was organised at KCIPS with religious fervour to seek the blessings of Almighty for the Board Exams and Final Exams of Students for the session 2018-19. The Kirtan was performed following the recitation of “Sukhmani Sahib ji” by the students and staff who assembled in the school premises. Vice Principal Mrs Rupinder Mahal addressed the students and motivated them to be persistent in their hard work to achieve the higher goals in boards as well as in their future prospects.

Avnoordeep Kaur & Simerpreet Kaur participated in Rangoli Competition organised by Traffic Staff at Sri Guru Harkrishan International School on 8 Feb 2019

Students of KCIPS Avnoordeep Kaur and Simerpreet Kaur participated in Rangoli Competition organised by Traffic Staff at Sri Guru Harkrishan International School on 8 Feb 2019 and won Consolation Prizes. Both of them were the youngest participants in the competition and were appreciated by one and all for their wonderful efforts and beautiful art work.
